Getting started

The following is a quick start guide of mining SiaCoin on Windows 7 or greater x64.

To mine SiaCoin you need a GPU, SiaCoin account and miner.

Account can be obtained in several ways. The simplest way to register on one of exchanges.

Miner can be downloaded from the link below.

Download Claymore DualMiner

Extract the archive to any folder.

Generate your config

Copy the downloaded files to the folder where you previously extracted the archive with the miner.

Execute start.bat

Pool settings

Pool settings

  • Fee is 2%
  • Payouts several times a day
  • Balance confirmation after 5 blocks
  • Default minimum payout is 1000 SIA
  • Share difficulty is static and equal to 50 billion.

You can mine directly to your SiaCoin wallet on any exchange

PPLNS payout scheme where N is defined as all submitted shares during the last 12 Hours.

Remember: using the pool is at your own risk and we can`t compensate any losses.

Where:

  • YOUR_ETH/ETC_ADDRESS - your valid eth/etc address
  • YOUR_SIA_ADDRESS - your valid SiaCoin address
  • YOUR_WORKER - simple short worker name (like worker01). Optional.
  • YOUR_EMAIL - your email address for notifications. Optional.

Don`t forget to set wallet, worker and email address to correct values.

Failovers

You must use failovers. If you want to enable Nanopool's failover servers, add these lines to dpools.txt and change your wallet, worker and email address to correct values:

Don`t forget to set wallet, worker and email address for SiaCoin to correct values.

Same you must specify for ethereum/ethereum classic in epools.txt.

Dual miner supports mining Ethereum/Ethereum Classic and SiaCoin/PascalCoin at the same time. To control second algorithm intensity use -dcri option.
